Finally got mine made up. Definatly needs tweeking - it doesn't sound all that loud, a wee play about with the gain should sort that out. The only thing I blew was the LED (not too bad for my first attempt ).
But I came across a cheap set of mini speakers for mp3/cd etc players - anyone know how easy it would be to use this inplace of the headphones, think it was rated at 2-3 ohm. Would any modification be required?
Thanks squalle, the parts I'm having trouble with are finding the Opamps, and LM6171 - getting irritated with Maplin here in UK. Also, finding the polyester capacators - of suitable dimension to fit the board - is near impossible (at Maplin again).
Quite new here, I was wondering, is there a simple straight forward list of all the parts/values for all the components for the board.
Also Does anyone know the difference of using ceramic or tantalum capacators in place of the (5? polyester) smaller Wima ones?
