Maybe we can compile a list of retailers and such and make the thread a sticky.
  10. Go to Stereo Electronics or Jaben(not sure whether they have these models), try them out for yourself and see which one you like most. Can ask them to recommend other phones within your budget also.

  13. I travel to Penang for work quite frequently. Come to think of it, I hardly see anyone wearing earphones nor headphones. At the workplace yes, but not on the streets or in the malls.
  14. Maybe that's why the winning bid is low, most of the cost goes into the shipping. But at 255.95 SGD still seems like a good price. I think some people bought it from other sources at around S$300. A second hand unit will cost around $200. Anyway I've noticed that you're also considering the iCute amps. If possible try to audition the amps and see which you like most. Good luck to your search
  15. Taiko to Tabla The opening cut of "Taiko to Tabla" is very traditional folk singing "Kokiriko Bushi" as sung by Hirota. The rest of the CD is drumming rather like Taiko, but including such percussion as cybals, gongs, bells, sampled sounds, and of course tabla and those booming big Japanese taiko drums. This is a good percussion CD, but it's also very Japanese-sounding despite the mix of cultures. - Joanna Daneman (Middletown, DE USA)
