ask your friend if he like bose speakers... if he like it than just get it for him... no point getting something that the whole audiophile community give praise but end up he does not like it... as i always says, sound is subjective... if u like it, just get it....

well, i guess the buyer need to assess whether the $60-$80 saved is worth the local warranty. the % of $$$ saved is quite significant.
