  1. Just got myself a iPod Video (5.5) Sunday evening. Now I am on the hunt for IEMs, since finding iPod providing a rather neutral sound setting, awfully lack in bass for me. Which IEMs do you guys recommend for bass emphasised performance? Thanks in advance!
  2. HP iPAQ 6818 PDA Phone for sale, a well reputed Microsoft Windows Mobile 5-based PDA with Phone capabilities. For users new to Microsoft Windows Mobile 5, its an OS developed as a mobile solution to PDAs, and the iPAQ 6818 is a full PDA with added phone capabilities. RRP on HP site is S$900. I am looking for fast deal at S$550. I am contactable at 90031670 for negotiations and enquires. Willing to make concession for sincere buyer. Letting go of this precious ware since I will be starting work in a company that forbids the use of such devices, and vying on the non-camera PDAs (M600i). Pictures:
  3. Got it, I will try listening out to the Nano after getting it. I have a Zen Neeon right now + Sennheiser PX200, and I am kind of used to the bassy sound after max-ing out the 60Hz band. Always contemplated when having the notion of replacing the Neeon, my first configuration, used to it, haha.
  4. Ah, thanks zonalblitz_audio! I have just ordered one via Apple Store SG, figured I cannot resist the sexiness of iPod afterall. Lol. I guess I will just have to figure out how I can tweak the sound after I get the set on Friday or so. As for the portable amp you talked about, are they portable enough to run on batteries?
  5. I am locked on the iPod Nano 2 8GB as well, dig the colour scheme and the thought of long playback capability. I am just rather concerned that iPod Nano seemed to be awfully lacking in terms of bass response, and even with "Bass booster", the sound sort of cracked and sounded rather amateur. Any idea whether is there a remedy? If that can be sorted out (I am quite a metal rocker, need those bass to satisfy my listening regime), I am definitely down to Apple centre asap.
  6. Hopefully Creative has great offers for ZEN Neeon 2 during COMEX. Looking to replace my Neeon with that.
  7. You mean at the Creative Shop? Been there a couple of times to shop accessories for my ZEN and the test pieces can be easily unplugged and plug into other sources.
  8. I see. I will be going down to Creative at Marina Square, hopefully they have a set there for testing.
  9. What about the Creative ZEN AURVANA?
  10. Bought this during the PC Show 2006 in June, and with Stik-On on since day 1, and at its pristine condition. - 5 Bands Equaliser - 1GB Storage (Works as a storage drive) - Rechargable via USB - Bright screen - Stik-On flexibility, allows visual customisation - All original accessories Start bid at S$90.
  11. Rammstein - Wo Bist Du (Entire Album: Rosenrot, Reise Reise) Within Temptation - Forsaken (Entire Album: The Slient Force) Xandria - Kill the Sun (Entire Album) Eisheilig - Elysium (Entire Album)
  12. I will look out for im716 when I am testing out for purchase, probably next week. So far I guess ER6i sounds quite alright to me, although I think it might not be fitting my ear well, can't really get the bassy punch unless I press it hard against my ear. Thanks guys! Any other phones I should look out for?
  13. Just got my hands on UM1, ER6i and E2c, and finds that ER6i sounded more to my preference. I have upped my budget since, and surely will like to try on E4c or E5c.
  14. Ah thats Stereo Electronics? I knew theres a electronic store opposite of MJ and beside the barber shop. Thanks for informing! Heading there later. By the way, do they allow in-store testing? Or is there an exchange policy?
  15. Where is this Stereo Electronics located?
  16. I see. Are the UM1 or ER6i great in bass response? I am quite satisfied with the Sennheiser's performance, but a more punchy bass response will be better.
  17. I am looking for a mid-level earphones, deep-sounding base kind, for on-the-move usage. I currently own a PX200, and will like to move on from it. I usually listens to Symphonic Metal, Gothic and Industrial Rock music like Rammstein and Xandria; what are your recommendations for an earphone? My budget is within S$200.
