If u want close cans but not portable is the audio technica art series. Low impedence cans tat sounds pretty good right out of a dap. A Amp can still improve their performance. An A700 is right about your buget or u can get a second hand A900, But since you are looking for portability and block sound, theres the IEMs you can look too. Full close cans tat can actually block sound are pretty big lol.

Not related to bass. Its a sounds like bright light where u just dont enjoy with ur ear. Can be irritating at times. BTW Grado headphones have one of the better bass out there.

Cant get use to the way the sf5 is worn though. Tested it out and find its rather uncomfortable to wear them >.< UM1 is by far the most comfortable IEM for me lol. Any recommandations to a confortable yet better sounding IEM (Other then UM2)?

Stereo is quite nice u can audition for an hr ( I did tat when i bought my MS2i) U can also swap ur headphone for another within 1 week if u dont like them and pay the difference. Back to topic, just wear ur phones often, the clamp effect will go away with time. Force bending it will also work but dont over do it

Changing the ear pads can also reduce the brightness abit. U can try around with other compatible ear pads. Its probably you not use to grados class headphones. The MS1 is alrdy known to be less bright then their grado siblings

Hi, Need opinions on which headphone is more suitable for j-pop music. Im not a fan of heavy bass though. I have a westone UM1 but I gave my sis used it so need something portable yet decent. Currently I know of PX100 and Koss Sporta and Porta pros. Thanks for the replys. Dont have much time to go down and slowly audition the headphones so hope I can get the general opinions here.

Hmm I went to Creative shop today and ask. They werent really sure but its possible it has an embedded lithium ion batt. Creative had a portable dts surround amp which comes with a headphone which has a embedded batt. Hn 2000 smth if im not wrong the model.

As Title. PM me ur price directly. Condition is less then 50 hrs of use. Comes in original packaging. Warrantee is still intact. Dont use it much as I prefer my MS2i over it.

Interesting if it really has its own internal power source. X-Fi does produce better sound with the crystalizer. It maybe just my preference though
