Welcome to the club Sep! Now we can go shopping for LP. Lawyer is right. You might want to look for a better phono amp instead. You will thank him in future for poisoning you.

Japan pressed:

Good choice. Love it's build and bling.

Yes, JA Michell Tecnoweight. The stock weight suck big time! Better as a paper weight. Don't know why some jokers here are still using it. http://www.michell-engineering.co.uk/tonearm.html

Some little mod/upgrade here and there. Add a DIY power supply for my phono amp which is hidden at the back. Now it sound so much better over stock! Waiting for JA Michell clamp to complete.

Why buy online when you can get it locally at about the same price. I remember the price that I've paid for my Sennheiser MX W1 at Stereo is cheaper than online. So do check with them.

I've been using Thorens carbon fibre brush with good result. However, now I'm using the Japanese handmade Jico JR-105 brush which work even better. And a final touch with Visibledust Zeeion Blower before I play my LP. Both reduce noise and static. http://depart.livedoor.com/present/detail?id=2531 http://www.visibledust.com/products3.php?pid=444 For wet cleaning, I'm using those from VPI and Mint. http://mintlp.com/brush.htm

Heard about the poor recording of this LP but I like this album very much so give it a try since it quite cheap (about the same price as cd). Funny is it sound very good! Way better than cd. US pressed, UMG Recording.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltage_regulator Most budget conditioner use only filters which constraint power. That's why amp lack dynamic when connect to some of these conditioners.

Printed in US by Rhino but vinyl stated pressed in Germany by Funace MFG. Recording is good to me.

Which conditioner are you using? Most budget version doesn't regulate voltage. So far I find that the best is still isolation transformer conditioner for unstable voltage.

New release and reissue is cheaper locally. As for used, it all depend on luck. Standard shipping for Ebay cost about $15. I usually have multiple purchase from the same seller to combine the shipping to save cost.

Interesting. Come with wheels? Bought some previously with wheels from Carrefour for other stuffs but too big for LP. Thinking Giant might have. Running out of space now!
-
Forgotten to mention, most integrated stereo amp only has one pair of output for speakers. You'll need a receiver for multiple output like adding a sub (2.1) or centre and surround (5.1).
-
You can also look at those from Marantz. They tend to have a nice warm signature which will suit most and easy to match. Look good and price well too.
-
For your limited budget, you might wan to look for used unit. Check out the Xtremeplace marketplace. And there's no such thing as a future proof amp or component. Always hear people saying that but never see it happen in real life. You'll tend to upgrade sooner or later, just like any hobby. Instead of getting now, I'll advice you to save up for a better set for your new home in future. New house, new toy.

Sound familiar. You overheard our conversation?

Get a power conditioner and it'll solve all your problem. Clear and stable power is the source of good sound.

Beware, they're watching........
