yup thx, i really find the sound is nicer than the mylar3, can feel the 'suround sound' effect i think its called sound stage better than ms1 too, now really lenjoying my music much more, juz that its still tight, have to 'season' it first

yup i know that, after trying at stereo at woodlands, i bought the akg k518dj instead, i juz liked the sound it gave much more than the other headphones i tried, actually the bass of it was ok i felt, not really overwhelming, juz nice i think, maybe im a closet basshead [which i didnt know until now], maybe i should also change my mylar3 to mylar xb too? i tried the ath ad500, sennheiser hd555 n hd515, ms1, sr60 n sr80, goldrong dr150 n dr100, also tried various beyerdynamic headphones last wk at jaben like dt231 n other higher ends ones....

icic, thx for the replies, i really like my mylar3 sounds, if u say that ms1 is even better n clearer than it then cant wait to try it, becoz i tried others like ath es7 and ath a500, found their sounds to be quite warm....also tried the dt231, actually quite liked that one too, but waiting for ms1 testing first b4 deciding....

hi, wanna ask wats the SQ difference between the iem mylar3 and headphone alessandro ms1, becoz i got the mylar3, and was thinking of getting a headphone now, wonder is the ms1 sound similiar or even better than mylar3?

didnt thought of that at that time, i will be poping by this week, hopefully it will not be sold out like jaben like that by the time i get there....

today tried the es7 n ath-a500 at jaben, find that both the sounds to be on the warm side, also tried many other headphones esp more of the beyerdynamic ones since mostly these were on the display, generally felt that the Open cans sound were more to my liking that the Closed ones, the sounds were more neutral and not as warm, also like the valour-paddings headphones than those with the pleather types, however in the end didnt buy anything yet, becoz i felt havent tried all the popular ones yet, esp the ms1 havent tried at the shop becoz it was out of stock, but quite liked the beyerdynamic dt231, quite clear sounds with good bass too, strangely when hear the display set which was the older model of dt231 which sounded very good, but then when hear the newer model dt231-galaxy from a newly opened box it didnt sound as good, didnt know that the burn-in sound could be so diffferent....so considering wat to get, will decide until i try the ms1 first....

how bout if i use a DAC, would the sound of es7 improve alot? intending to listen mostly through my pc using audigy2zs, but would getting a DAC or headphone amp be better?

how is the ATH A500 SQ compared to the ES7 too?
