Do get back on your opinion of both cans! I'm deciding between these 2 cans myself, although i believe i'll want to get both eventually. At the moment, priority is the D2000 first, then the HD 600 or maybe modded HD 580.

i don't know about locally, but i think there is a greater availability of tubes for the darkvoice amps in general. I have the LD MK III myself and have been looking for a source of tubes in sg as well, but to no avail. would appreciate any new information as well!

hi all, which of the budget cd players are better when used as transport only? eg: marantz 5001/denon vs 6002 am able to use ibasso D1 as DAC, but there should be little point if the cd player has a equally good if not better DAC right?

Thanks, have been experiencing intermittent d/c, but only recently. thanks to this thread, i've been busy check farnell for op-amps to roll today. however, most of them are in SOIC. how do you guys convert them to DIP and where to get the adapters? am a newbie when it comes to DIY. thanks in advance for the advice!

have an MS-1 too and don't feel that it's overly bright, however i do detect some sibilance after upgrading my amps. have not tried grados though.
