  1. good review, cant wait for more hours of burn in to see how it sound like. Seems like a good buy lei. Ehh, your setting using the USB to your amp right, the volume control knob in your uDac is still using right? Do you need to crack up very high on either equipment to make it louder?
  2. how you guy remove it? I ruin one of it while trying to take it out ):
  3. I use a normal earbud for running, cause i want to hear what the surrounding is, unless i go to Stadium, which i will use my IEM. Having said that, why not consider this, http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/home_...ort-line_504046 very comfortable.
  4. laptop one will be over-right if you are using a DAC, for DAC and amp, I think so.
  5. for UE, cause of the memory wires that it have, it will kind of remember your ear shape, so when the next time you are using it, you can hook it up to your ear easily. For the comply, it's suppose to fit in your ear nicely and provide a good fit. Good way to use it is to squeeze it flat first, then insert it into your ear.
  6. You mean you did not use it as a DAC using this connection?
  7. uDAC is about slight 100 plus, Ibasso D2+ is slight above 200. Check PM.
  8. still looking at DAC lei, thinking of the NuForce uDAC, review was nice. Next is ibasso D2+ ah. you? Cheap DAC i believe would be the uDAC.
  9. ehhh, i do have the almost similar problem, but mine is only distortion from laptop, which a DAC help to solve the problem, as some argued that is the computer soundcard, which i agree as well. Laptop sound card don't sound nice, but with DAC it improve on the quality significantly.

  11. the cx 300 II is much bassy to me however I feel that it's more well define and not muffled too.Like you said, it's deep bass. Had not tried the nuforce yet, but they sound decent as well. T400 if I am not wrong, Stereo do carry them.
  12. yea, not only headphone, earphone too. I feel that nowaday the sound card in laptop don't sound as decent as what it used to be.
  13. yup, my laptop don't have those good sound card and etc, just that all these distortion spoil your listening experience.
  14. no, it's distortion. I confirmed that. So far, only i found a simple solution, which is using DAC, but it only cure the external, not the internal as the sound card in a laptop cannot be change.
  15. that one good meh? heard review that it does not sound nice lei. looking at some creative toy as well. on my list currently is ibasso d2 nuforce UDac
  16. yea, i agree. Eh, now i edit again, seems like no matter what earphone or headphone i use, i will have this problem. I check with my computer geek friend and he told me that the sound card in a laptop cannot be changed, unless get something external. Looking at some affordable DAC now.
  17. eh, think i got it sorted out, but i am not sure of the reason. Solution, get a DAC. Tried out my friend DAC this afternoon and realise the distortion is gone!
  18. i tried that, but still can hear the distortion. I am wondering will a DAC solve the problem? Now I realise when I am listening using earphone (Shure SE310), I will hear this kind of distortion as well.
  19. Hi guys, no sure whether did you all experience the same thing as me. As you all know, I owned a pair of MS1 and I had being using my MS1 to listen to music via my laptop. But recently I found out that no matter what songs be it from CDs, Itune or from foobar, I will hear a cracking sound when the singer go above a higher range. Currently listening to a concert live recording and it irritate me off. Any suggestion? If I plug it into my mp3, using the same songs, it sound much better, so is it my laptop sound card that is costing the problem? Any way to treat it? Configuration for laptop is... Fujitsu S series. (Wonder will it help much or not)
  20. i had tried cheaper amp before and cheap amp they only hype up the volume, not the sound quality.
  21. I dun think you go audition the staff will be angry ba. My past experience with Stereo Electronic is excellent. Good customer service from them. Their staff are very polite and patience. Moreover, customer are always right
  22. yup, for me, i would always think that the source is the weakest link in the system. Cause the source is alway the first line to strike. Therefore, once you have a good source, I believe everything followed will sound decent. Take me for example, I had been using my ipod as my main source. Recently found 2 old mp3 player resting at a corner of my room, one samsung, one creative. So, i out in the same songs in all 3 mp3 players, using the same equipment but only different players, i realise the different.
