I apologise to Calvin Tan for stating that his Valhalla may be "overcooked" and spolied beyond repair. When it was back with me for servicing, the Valhalla sounded a little muffled on initial listening. After more listening, Calvin has confirmed that the sound is as good as when it was first bought. The return of the sound can sometime be attributed to the caps not having been in use for some time. Apologies! Some comments triggered my intension to commence defamation proceedings against Calvin. Again, I apologise for the threat and will not be taking out any action now or at any later date in respect of those comments. Apologies for the threat! I hope the above resolves any misunderstanding between us.

It uses Sonicaps 4.7uF capacitors as the "mother" capacitor and 0.1uF for bypass. It can be used in both portable, home and desktop rigs. Placed between the source and the amplifier, either as a stand alone capacitor for imods or as an added capacitor lined in series, the feel is that energy appears to be increased and you will feel the immediate effect of an increase of music power which is clearly audible in all spectrums of the music. Just got my black sand violet Z1 power cords yesterday. Did some research before buying them. The review did say that they were capable of beating many cables many times its price but I was skeptical. In fact, I thought that the reviews were somewhat overstating. In any case, I took the plunge as it was not too expensive. Boy, I was wrong, this cable is as good as the reviews made them out to be. They were very dynamic. When used with my T1s and my LNS the increase of the transparency was far from what I expected. The clarity, musicality, separation, extension of bass, smoothness, decay of music from instruments and the vocals and size of headstage made me feel like I was listening to my O2 mk1. When I used it on my O2 mk1 and my 717, the improvements was just as substantial. It was the feel of quailty power with smoothness and dynamics! Valgrind = Tubeman and partner (Aron)
