Well, I listen to all kinds of music, really Maybe no classic but Rock, Pop, Punk, a lot of Electronic, Blues, Metal and whatever, no real preference here. I'm always looking for genres I don't know... The amp shouldn't colour the music in any way. The problem with used stuff is that I have to get it to Germany and it is used But anyway if you really know some very inexpensive amp, used ones included, I'm willing to give it a try. I'm not looking for a tubed amp because I don't like the idea of me sitting in my room changing tubes three days long or so

I think I found one Rega Ear for 180 Euro. I'm going to try that one out and if I like it, I will keep it without listening to any other amps

Actually I would just like to know what I'm able to get in this price range and what will give good results with my Senns.

Hi there! Currently I'm looking for an amp for my HD 600s. Right now I'm plugging them into my CD-player or amp. The CD player (Yamaha CDX-1050) sounds better than my amp (Harman/Kardon HK 680) bit it gives less bass... That's actually why I'm searching for an amp The price should be somewhere around 200 Euro.

It's a good thing to be german I got my Sennheiser HD 600 for under 200 Euro:) And the Philips HP 890 for example are selling in an internet shop for 55 Euro... Both brand new Beyerdynamic is also rather cheap but I don't have the numbers right now....

Hi! This is my first post I own a Sennheiser HD 600 directly connected to a Yamaha CDX-1050! I like it but I'm thinking of getting a dedicated amp for my Senns... My speaker setup uses the same CDP. My speakers are Quadral Taurin MKIII powered by a Harman/Kardon HK 680.
