I'm suprised no one has looked at the HT-Omega Claro Halo's. I plan on getting that when I upgrade to a desktop. I want them so I can switch out the op-amp's in similar fashion to tubes. http://www.bursonaudio.com/burson_opamp.htm# has an example

In terms of Sub's, i'd look at these: http://www.martinlogan.com/product-list.php#subwoofers in specific to ML's I'd say the D700 would be perfect. comparred to the little 6.5" you have, it will be night and day.
