  1. I suggest brands should not be incorporated into the shirt design? It's sgheadphones.net after all. =)
  2. Oh.. yes! And store the cases in a CD rack, shelf. Neat! Some people keep their CDs in dry cabinets.
  3. Nope, during my last few times with shirt printing, You can choose the varity of colour. No extra charges from them though. It was just the colour of the shirt, not the colour of design.
  4. Roasty, that's not crap drawing! LOL! It's pretty good for a computer and a mouse! I think the front looks good! The back can have the http://www.SgHeadphones.net at the back. I think it's an awesome idea! Anyway, from my experience with the shirt printing, i think the factory allows the colour of the tee vary with the same design. I propose we come up with a few choices of colours for the crowd? How about that? I'm not sure if anyone think of 'colour-code' ourselves. With Black/White as the main forum tee, 1 colour for IEMs, another for headphones etc etc.. Just a suggestion, don't take it too hard.
  5. Anyway, the M/L meant (M or L). Can't decide on the size yet.
  6. If the graphic design goes overboard, i believe many adults will not want to wear them. Think for the general. Just my 2 cents.
  7. Really thanks alot Roasty! I believe many fellow forumers would be excited about the new tee!
  8. Roasty. Perhaps the measurements of the chest and other dimensions from factory would be good as well. I saw the photograhs. The designs were embored into the shirt which makes it long lasting. Looks good! Now we need a shirt designer. But first, let's see what the moderators' says.
  9. Haha! Could you drop us a example from factory? (If really possible.) Thanks alot. SGHeadphones T Shirt 1. Roasty x1 M 2. joi-ful x 1 M/L 3. That dude x1 XXL (really...) 4. Proton (M, what colours are available?) 5. dle4e_2005 x1 S/M 6. ahdui x1 L 7. zonalblitz_audio x2(for now) M/L
  10. Anyway, check out the date of the thread That_Dude responded to.
  11. I long wanted a SgHeadphone.net polo tee. I would just pick up 2 or 3 polo tees if there's such shirt printing. I hope the polo tee are the ones that can really last, especially on the collar. Anyway, i'm not sure if many would know about this. I still remember in Year 2003, the early moderators and forumers made an effort to mass order the SgHeadphones SIGG bottle. They bought the mould for the printing. They used the header (Sgheadphones) as the design for print. I think it was our forum's 'limited' edition for now, a serious collectors' item. Here was the old SIGG bottle thread : SgHeadphones SIGG Bottle I think it can happen in Sgheadphones once again as there are more active members can compared with before. The header (sgHeadphones) could be added as an identity to the shirt design as well. I hope our fellow forumers will show your support if this shirt printing is successful.
  12. If you got a sculptor's knife, it would be very good. It will be fine with scissors or penknife. Give it a fast and clean cut, or you will end up with rough edges.
  13. Try the consumer's Sennheiser? The look-factor. Not sure if it falls within budget
  14. How about KSC75? Not so sure about the look factor.
  15. Haha!! You ain't dreaming like the header said. Come on and join the competition and the winner might be just you.
  16. your last resort : Padding =) Does the headphone feel 'heavy' to you on your head? Or is it just the headband strain?
  17. Have you tried the padding or wearing it looser fit?
  18. Usually it's the 'lesser' one that catch up with the higher one. How can the higher category catch up? =)
  19. Please note that there will be changes made to the competition. (Of course for the benefit of all participants) The event chief (ahdui) will upload the guidelines, updated prizes. The deadline will be extended as well. Thanks to Uncle Wilson for his kind contribution for the exciting prizes. Come show your support and join the competition. Your talent might just win you a prize! =) Cheerios~!
  20. Ahdui, are you taking part as well? Haha! Is this a solo entry?
  21. I think you will look on the Earphones for jogging purpose. As for headphones, probably the ones that has neckband and clip-ons would be good. To reduce microphonics, you might wish to use clips to secure the cable. Over-the-ear IEMs and clip-on should help. Hope this helps! =)
  22. Haha! I asked for sanding machine because if you are to do fancy shapes, sanding by hand would be very tough. It also depends on the choice of material. Headphone stand competition, can form a team or partners?
  23. Haha, yes for some materials. But over the years it seemed affordable. Alternatively, you can get wood for IKEA under the Timber stall. I see more of Balsa wood over at Art Friend for people doing Interior Design. The wood can be soft and easy to work with. No nice wood grain. However at the Timber stall in IKEA, you can find Pine (I think, or look-like Pine wood). The wood grains can be pretty if you know just how to finish it. Wood stain can also be found there if you want to add colour touch to it. Its natural colour is Sand. Think about how you want to construct the headphone stand and the machines are at your disposal. You're most likely to look at the sanding machine. A tip for Pine or grainy wood : If you want the beautiful grains to really stand out, put the surfaces under the sanding machine. While sanding the surfaces, the wood 'burns' and the grains becomes darker. (Safely only on the grains) Have fun!
