Hi guys, recently with the release of creative nomad zen nx, mp3 players caught my eye. I'm wondering if it sounds good as a source if i copy my cd directly as wav files into the players. Will it output better quality sound compared to a Minidisc player/Discman ? Just a show of hands how many people are using this products and any valuable experience you can share ? thanks mackie I have tried the headphone output last time, the sound was very bright and harsh directly from the output. I recommend it to be use together with an headamp to hear its full potential. cheers

Selling off the marantz cd63se, its the special edition of the normal cd63. It's famous for the ability to mod, though mine is an unmod version. In excellent condition and had never gave me any problem before. Sound wise, you have to hear it yourself, i personally feel that it is a quality cdp , not like those budget cdp which normally sound quite harsh. I've used it for 3 years, so its without warranty. I lost the remote, hence now selling cheap. Asking $150 firm. Interested parties do pm me. Cheers

hmmm, so in simpler terms, high impedence means you need a higher power to drive it ? and even though grado has low impedence(32ohm) , normal pcdp cant drive it properly(not enough power) either ?

I read alot of posts commenting on high impedence, and some commented that low impedence are easier to drive, what actually does a high and low impedence headphones does, and the difference betweenthe two. Please advise, i have been blur since day one. Thanks in advance.

In fact i own a diy cmoy. I used to own the obh-11, in my personal opinion, the cmoy outputs a richer sound compared to the obh-11. Dynamics and vocals sounds slightly better too. I paired them both up with the marantz cd63se. The sound is not what i like, its slightly on the bright side, hence i plan to change the headphones.

Hi guys, Do you all have any recommendation for a budget headphone/ear plugs ? My budget is around 200, i dont mind second hand. I use it primarily for my computer and night listening. As i currently own a pair of grado sr-80, but find it too bright for my liking. Hence now i need to scout for a new pair , and it mus output warm and enjoyable sound ! Thanks

for me, i listen to about 1-2 hr per day, sometimes when im feel uncomfortable of wearing something over my head, i will jus switch to senheisser earphones. How about you guys ? wont you all feel abit uncomfortable wearing headphones over a long period of time ? For me i do.

But i cant find it in sim lim square, so i trying to ask you guys if you all've seen it some where else ? Any comments on it ? Selling Grado sr-80 (2month+ old) and creek obh-11 (1 year plus) amp, because of upgrading to bookshelves Hope to sell as a set, looking for $350. I have both the sr60 and the sr80 pads, so will be giving both. Headphone still has 9 months + warranty. receipt and box availiable. Creek amp doesnt have warranty anymore. box available.
