abhiroopb 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) I have a nice JBL Power20 amplifier and two Space speakers. I decided to add a sub-woofer. I didn't have much of a budget (<SGD100) and so I went to SLS looking for a bargain, perhaps even getting something second hand. I ended up buying a KOK Sub-woofer. I haven't been able to find much information on it online but the specs are as follows: Model: KOK SW-800 Power 30W (RMS) 60W (Max) Frequency: 16Hz - 160Hz Speaker Unit: 6.5" I paid $70 and got a couple of speaker cables for free. The total packaging feels a little cheap (plywood paneling, etc.). And my puppy chewed off the volume control knob, which the seller kindly replaced. But, the sound is actually surprisingly good. It has given my music a whole new dimension. Anyway was wondering if anyone had heard of this brand before. Edited December 1, 2009 by abhiroopb
wwenze 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2009 KOK is one of those brands "you can find being sold here but you'll never find its info nor its manufacturor's info". The name is probably a mimick of KRK? I dunno, but they also produce audio switches and mixers so I don't think they're a small wannabe company. Don't expect them to be very expensive.
