niccon 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2010 Hope to get the above but they dont feature 5.1ch, do they? I google around, all i come across are using effect to provide virtual surround. Is there any which uses a true 5.1ch? If there is, will there a big diff for 5.1ch & virtual headphone? how good is wireless nowadays, will the transmission be interfered by other wireless microwave, digital cordless or handphone? ical 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2010 (edited) True 5.1 = 2 main speakers, 1 centre, 2 surrounds, 1 sub. So there's no such thing as true 5.1 for headphone, all are virtual surround. The best wireless now is using Kleer technology. I've using the Senn MX-W1 which works very well, feel like wired earphone. They do have two model of headphone to choose from. http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/home_...ireless%20Kleer Edited April 20, 2010 by ical
[J]-ohn 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 I've got a pair of Sennheiser RS160 from Stereo recently, its by far the best wireless I've owned. If isolation is a concern, get the RS140.

Not that I had tried any wireless headphones that sounds like that. So I added the RS180 to my collection ... too good of a wireless headset to resist.
