pensolum 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2011 (edited) Basically , i just recycled the Audio Technica ONTO headphones and stuff them into this industrial earmuffs to give it a noise cancelling feature . Its good , and i've used it for like 2 months now , and i thought of improving it further , and will need your help . 1) I want to shift the cable the come out from the right side of the muff only . In this case , how should i re-wire my headphones ? 2) I want to incorporate a microphone and wire them in such a way that it ends as a single plug , and must be usable with iphone . Is it possible ? 3) Assuming the above 2 points is possible , what tangle-free cables should i get ? I hope to get a prompt answer , and thank you in advance . Cheers . nekatrall 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2011 well some ppl did modify via using an existing iphone earphones so mic not an issue plus its dirt cheap to wire one side not so easy plus convention is to wire on left side u can go over the top make sure got extra length for adjustment if not too tight heat shrink or cable tie to the hinges for cable management

nekatrall 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) if u want lesser wires running ard can share the ground wire = negative http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/05/diy-iph...ud-replacement/ Edited December 10, 2011 by nekatrall
pensolum 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) Thanks neka for the vid , but i guess it will not work for me - i'm gonna make the cable comeout from only one side of the muff . Okay so basically , i can just share the ground wire with the LS , RS , and the MIC right ? Edited December 10, 2011 by pensolum
