Blues 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2003 (edited) hi hermes and welcome to this forum ksc-55 is very good in general, be it bass, treble, overall clarity. You won't go wrong with that Edited October 13, 2003 by Blues
N@Z 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2003 I second that. When I tried out Sipher's KSC55, find the Bass is tighter & better controlled than the KSC35 (even with modded earpads). Although depending on individual the comfort issue might come into play. I find the KSC35 more comfortable than the KSC55 however the latter is more secure for the more 'active' user. AT makes some very nice and stylish headphones. But I have not tried most, so I might not be able to help u

Hermes 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2003 btw, wats all these specs usually stated on the box wat does the 98 dB/mW or 10~23kKz means??? enlighten me plz 出力音圧レベル : 98dB/mW(JEITA) 再生周波数帯域 : 10~23,000Hz 最大入力 : 1,000mW インピーダンス : 35Ω
Blues 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2003 (edited) 10-23khz is the frequency response. Usually the wider the better. But it doesn't reflect anything about the sound, coz as far as I know, both sony R10(king of headphone) and cd3000 have 20-20khz frequency response! and yet they sound... oohh my .. delicious (dunno abt r10 but cd3k is certainly .. ) 98 dB/mW is the sensitivity. basically how loud it will be per mW.
