dalethorn 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 I'm getting very fond of the E17. I use it a lot now when a computer isn't handy, with the iphone and L3 LOD cable, which gives really great sound and lots of volume. It sounds so detailed on 320k CBR MP3's I ripped from some "K2HD" Japanese CD's - I keep checking to see if I'm still running the E17. I've used it about 4 hours today at loud volume and the battery indicates about 1/4 used and 3/4 available. It probably won't last 16 hours, but it might get close to that. dalethorn 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 hehe ur reviews kinda poisonous, feel like getting an e17 altho i have the O2 I did a long compare last night to the O2 and E17, both running from iphone connected through the LOD. The O2 is slightly better, so no worries. Just the E17 is more portable. (Plus it's very cute)
nekatrall 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 i cant deny looks wise e17 wins also portability hahaha i did once have an e11 haha weirdly stuff sounded mechanical instead of musical could be the implementation of the opamp wasnt well plus made my goldring dr150 sound bad
dalethorn 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 I don't hear anything negative in the E17 - it sounds smooth as can be. Very nice sound. I imagine the really good tubes sound like that.
nekatrall 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2012 sweet i have the starving student millet hybrid havent had the chance to use good tubes tho too expensive but gd solid states can rival tubes
