ah finally someone who appreciates technics/panasonic pcdp. i always have a liking for them and always wonder why everybody prefers sony pcdps. panasonic/technics pcdps last much longer than sonys and can always be found cheap in 2nd hand stores.

stores like cash convertors in jurong, tampines, marine parade and toa payoh. around $40-50 for a pretty good condition vintage technics. yahoo auctions can be good too!

I'll go hunting in Jurong during the weekend then. I lusted after the D777 when I was still studying, but the damned thing was like, $400+++++? I wouldn't pay that much even today. And is it just me or are portable cd players getting uglier and uglier each year? I remember what the sonys used to look like and today's models are just butt ugly by comparision.

No, they aren't getting uglier. The super-slim lines are a beauty. But they've lost the shape, figure and attractiveness of a sexy PCDP like D777 and D-E905. Oh, look at their shape, sexy!

bought a 2nd hand sx410 at $60

first i thought was pretty decent.

now i think too bassy...
