I believe that there's a difference in shielding. I believe in buying belden with hospital plugs and DIYing I believe that the $1000 shunyata cable sounds good but it doesn't sound $950 more than my DIY cables I don't believe some of the prices of aftermarket power cords. Mackie 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2004 On top of that, believing is one issue........ability to discern is another. The hardest bit is in discerning power cords. Apply brakes if one can't hear the difference. Persistent upgrading from thereon is merely a psychological pacifier that one is getting the best albeit the ears > brain couldn't concur. IMHO.
