Wesley 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2004 Just got my Beyerdynamic RSX600 from Mackie yesterday. still in the running-in process. From the net, I found that most of the wireless headphone spectrum is >900 MHz (brand like; SONY MDR-RF945RK, Advent AW770, JVC HA-W300RF, Jensen JW160) Only Beyerdynamic RXS and Senn RS are having the spectrum < 900Mhz at 863 MHz According to the Singapore Spectrum Allocation Chart, Spectrum from 890 - 915 MHz is for GSM 900 (Land mobile) and Spectrum from 845 - 864 is for Radio Trunked System and the Spectrum (869 - 880 MHz) in between the twos is for Cordless Phone. Can any spectrum expert enlighten me? Does it means if I use Sony wireless headphone, I can also receive the GSM900 mobile phone signal? Which is better? higher spectrum or lower? Since BD and Senn are in the same spectrum, can both of them share the same base unit?
Mackie 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 Tough question but I believe bandwidths and carrier signals may differentiate products sharing the same spectrum. Crosstalk interference may occur otherwise.
