PCB drill from Kaichin. It must be able to use on 1mm drill bit.

Cost $29.80.

I always try to go Kaichin everytime I go SLT. The reason of course is not due to electronic.

jason, can this drill cut metal if a use a cutting disk like those for Dremal?

went to Kaichin to take a look at the drill but seems like it does not hav enough torque for the job, looks like hav to get either a Dremal or the black&decker RTX

one more thing i think the girl's name in Kaichin is Esther tongue.gif

meet one of my suppliers there who also supply to Kaichin, when he ask her to show me the drill, that what he called her wink.gif

That drill was recommended because the drill area would not run out; meaning when drilling the bit would not vibrate so much causing the drill diameter to increase.

Try not to cut metal with this.

Finally finished my PCB.. But I'm shooting elephants with my drill. I'm using those gigantic 550W hand drill and find it diffcult to aim. Guess I have to spend a little extra to ge that mini electrci drill.

I think a better method would be to use sawdust or powdered clay to soak up the chemical then dispose of it in a plastic bag.

I think there used to be another etching agent.. Some kind of acid but it requires a license to purchase now.
