I think brand new with the new NOS silver wiring that TS Lim is offering, it costs something like $800. i can't really comment on the classic one because prior to that, i had sold off my existing pre-amp for a very long time, my audiolab 8000c. so i don't really have a basis for comparision. but from memory, the classic one is more detailed and the soundstage depth is better.
