maddog 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2004 I'm actually looking for headphones for gaming. i've narrowed down my choices to the v6 (hung), a500 (bluetin), d66 (bluetin) or the hd 280 (hung). I'm wondering which one here will be best used unamped on a computer source. I'm quite worried if the studio headphones will reveal any flaws eg hissing.. Anyone know which one here is a good choice? maddog 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2004 I'm using the creative sound blaster live platinium now. Yah I hear hissing from it now and then hence the concern. I don't mind upgrading my sound card tho, cos it's the next component in my computer set up to upgrade Any suggestions for cans and soundcard (if needed?) Keep in mind that they're for gaming on the com and not really for mp3 listening so the framerates can't drop. I was thinking of an Audigy 2 in the near future actually.
