yongchris 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2004 Not trumpet nor sax. not really jazz. More like classical brass bands. I just bought a couple of the Canadian Brass (they do an AMAZING version of Amazing Grace which is to die for). Only found 3 of them in Borders. Canadian Brass Looking for more. I also have the soundtrack to "Brassed Off" which is damn good too IMO. Brassed Off Any other recommendations?

kahchun 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2004 Ah.........we should let our new member kahchun answer for he used to be a horn player if my memory serves me right. Yup, I still a horn player and I quite like the Canadian Brass. You can try "Ragtime" and "Swing Time". In fact most of Canadian Brass CDs contains a lot of easy listening tunes. You might want to try the website below for other brass music. http://store.yahoo.com/canbrass/audio.html I will also recommend you Empire Brass, this is another brass ensemble group which is as good as Canadian Brass, in fact, their CDs are more well-recorded.
