aaa - Bpribadi and I arranging to go to AhFart to buy some, we will buy for you if you let us know how much you want. We are both thinking of one metre each. Thanks for the solder offer, bpribadi gave me some, should be enough.

how much and what's the AWG dia?

My PPA Casing is almost 30cm long, so if the input RCA socket is at back and alps pot is at front, just that portion of connctors will be 90cm long!

(for standard euro card size it will be 16cmx3=48cm)

then there's the distance from Pot to PCB's op-amp sections and wiring of PCB components and output to socket

So even I just use it for the signal path I will need at least 3 meters.

I will prefer to group buy 50 ft of 22AWG silver wire from http://www.homegrownaudio.com/diy_silverwire.html

then share it amount us.

those 26AWG are too fine for my taste.

aaa,

>>We have the silver OCC 24 AWG for $16/m. teflon coated.

Problem is, I won't need much, bpribadi wanted 20ft, you wanted 10ft so you won't make 50 ft right? BTW what is the cost per foot if you get 50ft?

aaa - I have no idea who are the people you talked about. AhFart Audio is run by this guy called Robert who deals in tube diy. You can read his web site - ahfartaudio where he list his goodies. BTW, I have never met Robert but some diyers have.

aaa, so you plan to use the long side of the casing for input and output. Why not the wide side ? So it will be much shorter, which is better in theory, and cheaper for the cable wink.gif

The PCB and casing size does not allow me to do that.

I think I will be having both the RCA input and Pot in front (same side)

in that way the wiring will be just as short as what you suggested.

cool.gif Hi Everyone,

I am Robert from AHFartaudio. The silver wire that I carry is from Neo

tech, they are the manufacturer for a lot of US high end cable, like Harmonic

Tech. The mono crystal drawn technique is developed by Professor Ohno.

Conventional silver sounds sharp on the highs & it's fatigue for long listening.

OCC silver highs are refine, detail & the vocal are very captive. 24AWG solid core are ideal for signal or low voltage wiring of headphone amp.

You can also opt for UPOCC copper at $2.4/m.

This is my contact 92383607, I am please to answer your Question

on wire.

Thanks Robert!

We will come to visit you soon happy.gif Do you have any silver cable with stranded wire, not solid core?

What's the gauge for the UPOCC?

Thanks!

biggrin.gif I do have OCC silver multistrand as well, briaded like the kimble 8TC.

$60 per ft. = 8ft.

The copper are 20AWG good for speaker or equipment wiring.
