sayhitojason 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 Hmm... any idea how you can tell the difference between original China pressing and pirated CDs? The ones that I saw in Bugis was packaged very well. Some albums have those round shiny 3D stickers on them. They didn't occur to me as pirated stuff, but then again, with today's pirates, I won't be surprised how real the fake can be.
lekguan 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 Perhaps depending on where you buy from.... I that shop doesn't sell pirated stuff it probably isn't pirated stuff? Hopefully...
Absolute0 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 I don't think you can tell for sure, unless there's an official sticker/logo on it. Even then, that could be fake as well. But I would think that they should be original since there isn't really much point pirating something worth less than $10 (in fact SG$3-5 in China). Anyway I think local pirates are still into those burnt CD-Rs packaged in transparent plastic packets with poorly-printed lyrics manual, a far cry from the capabilities of their foreign counterparts.
