Absolute0 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2005 That has been eagerly anticipated I must say, but I am expecting bugs in the earlier versions of the firmware update, typical of iriver. Do report back on the sound quality.

ahtiu 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2005 just would like to know if anyone tried playing .wav with H3xxx after the new firmware update ? Can I just drag & drop the .wav files frm the CD or must them be exact using software ? thanks
Absolute0 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 AFAIK, files on a CD are not encoded in WAV. You need some software to rip the files to WAV.
idkfa 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 Yes, you need to specify ripping to WAV files. After that, it's just Drag & Drop into your iRiver. Simple as that! Btw, I still cannot find out the sonic differences between the Wav files and the 350 Oggs. Even the 192Kbps are hard to scrutinise. But to play safe, all rips go to crazy 450Kpbs Oggs!
