Personally looking to upgrade from realtek on board sound. idkfa 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2005 For USD$158 you can get the SE-150-PCI, a souped-up version of the onkyo. I was tempted to get it but am deciding between the Terratec EWX2496 of this. Anyway the SE-90PCI retails for SGD$150 here in japan. I just think audiocubes is way expensive. Go read up Head-Fi for reivews. Not many ppl have them cos the drivers are in japanese. But from looking at the boards, this is one card that is intriguing audiophiles. If you are not freakish about japanese driver, go for it. From an onbaord sound to a dedicated 2-channel pro card, the EMU is a good start. Almost the same price as the SE-90PCI but a whole lot more support in english. Lastly, what's your music taste like.
