heady 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 Have a pair of Koss plugs which I like the sound but I found the sponge/foam thingy a nuisance, as inserting it is difficult. Am thinking of replacing them with those found on newer in ear phones silicone pieces. I find the replacement flanges (or whatever they are called) are quite expensive. Any one knows where to get cheaper ones so I can afford to experiment? TIA. BTW - I know some people think the SQ of the Koss is lousy but my ears seemed quite happy with them. afbug 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2006 A little too late. I had some extra but sold away. You can try hung bros. They should stock the Ety triflange. You need to use the original sound tube for Ety's cos they have no stem. (Hard to insert but possible) If you bought the more ex Shure's then just trim its stem down to flash with the largest flange. Or maybe Stereo has them now. Last time i emailed them, they dun stock the flanges.
