evil-zen 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2006 If you like the sound, it is suitable for anything... Giving it a try at Kingsley will be better than reading thousands of posts about this matter.
cmk 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2006 is a stats suitable for movies? IMO that would be a big waste, but then, its your money. Not saying that electrostatics are not good, they are very, very good for what they do well. For some types of music, nothing beats them. Yes, you should try them at Kingsley. Mackie 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2006 (edited) chow: words can only say so much, you have to make the first move to try out electorstatics cans or speakers. There's a very telling difference from dynamic cans/speakers. One major trait - electrostatics are relatively free from colorations but it does not have the bass impact as dynamic drivers. In fact, all of us would like to hear your feedback instead. Edited May 2, 2006 by Mackie
nakedtoes 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2006 (edited) electrostatic offers me the cleanest, fastest and spacious sound i ever hear.. When comparing to dynamic phones.. you will find dynamic are muddy.. HOwever you will only get bigger slam, tigher bass from dynamic.. and comparing with static.. u will find static phones a little too thin..
