Hissing

Recommended Posts

Hi ppl, ive got a rather irritating problem with my onboard sound. I can hear hissing the moment i turn my Aego-M near the halfway mark. I've tried connecting the speakers to my Zen Micro and there is no hissing whatsoever so the culprit has to be my onboard sound. I'm using a SFF and my only free PCI slot is taken up by the TV Tuner Card so i can't get a dedicated soundcard. I'm contemplating getting those USB soundcards but are those any good? Or is there any other way to get around this problem? Thanks in advance. :cans:

PS im using an nforce2 mobo with nvidia soundstorm onboard sound.
