aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2006 Did something really weird that day, when my ears were rather sweaty from using my HQ-1700. Put a packet of slicia gel (ones that come in packets, from various foodstuff, so that the food doesn't get mouldy in Singapore's humid conditions) in between both driver units. The 'phone sound better now, better instrument seperation. Placebo effect?

aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2006 (edited) Well, placebo effect is one of the best thing you can get in headphones, it's free, after all. Anyway, there shouldn't be any damage to the drivers, right? Edited July 10, 2006 by aaron-xp
Zephyron 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2006 Naw. Drivers in general need to be dry. Maybe the humidity got to them so they sound better after being dried? *spouts random nonsense*
zonalblitz_audio 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2006 Ultimate Ears webby carries the dehumidifier for their custom IEMs. Take a look at the site : Dehumdifier Moisture could be damaging to the drivers, read up about it.
