What cables do u use to connect from portable amp to headphone

I am quite sure that I am mad. Been carrying quietly - my RA1 in my haversack, Audioquest mini-1 cable (RCA - 3.5" jack) and HF-1 for the past few days.

Just I am curious, what other SGH members are using with their portable amp & headphones?

Well, used various DIY ICs, from Belden &Canare starquad interconnects to Neotech OCC solidcore copper & silver. These neotech cable so far is the best I've heard, the the OCC copper is the next best to silver in terms of neutrality, with a touch of warmth.. want to try out some kimber kable / zu cables if there's auditioning available..

you mean from source to amp right...anyways mines not portable using the xiangsheng, but uses a portable source. been using $7 daiyo 1.5m mini-rca for the last few weeks, have a zu pivot the way...

 

Yes. Since you are using Xiangsheng at home, perhaps you could source for a good CDP. There are so many to choose from
