viix 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2006 (edited) Anybody use DJ CD-Player table top for listen music ? http://www.adjaudio.com/category.asp?category=CD_Players http://www.numark.com/ http://www.stantondj.com/v2/cdplayers.asp http://www.vestax.com/v/products/players/index.html etc. How about sound quality differ from ordinary portable Cd-Player ? NO GO lol. I have a set of pioneer dvjs and denondj and they are A BIG NO-GO for anything other than dance music! SIMPLE AS THAT. the sound quality is just not the same. the playback from them goes thru a hardware and software pitch and bpm control. sound is a little unnatural and closed in compared to any non DJ cdp. But quite fun playing thru speakers and mixing. Imagine flanging teresa tands vocals on a bassline at 160bpm, or remixing a few classical pieces lol. btw, for cd mixing, try to stick to pioneers, staton and denon. numark and vestax doesn't have as smooth buttons and faders.. which can f up your set while mixing.
