Where do you guys source for good components?

Ok this may be a dumb question but where do the DIY gurus source for their audio grade components? How about Hammond casings? The shop at Berlington Square?

RS components and Farnell is a good source for compnents including Hammond casing.

I am not a DIY guru but I do know where they shop at. Koba Electronics in Peoples Park Centre - level 3. They have lots of stuff but Hammond casing you need to get from Farnell. Most opamps also need to get from either Farnell, RS or Digikey or Mouser.

 

I do get polypropylene caps from Well Audio but prefer to deal with Martin Electronics whever possible as I don't like the uncle in Well Audio very much.

 

Bytetron in Sim Lim Square, level 4 is supplier to many shops in Sim Lim Tower and the lady boss is very pleasant to deal with. The shop has nice RCA connectors and various casings.

Thanks people for the suggestions. I'll probably go look at the places heady suggested. Farnell and RS have limited selection when it comes to certain specialised components.

Saw a black aluminium knob in SLT basement shop, the one near the staircase to Sungei Rd. You can also try Koba although I am not sure they have black knobs. Koba probably has the largest knobs selection on sale. Otherwise you have to get them from Farnell.
