Northern Oak 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2003 Has anyone has used the Supra DAC cables as interconnects? Care to comment on the difference it makes?
Rameish 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2003 Generally 75 ohm cables do not make good interconnects.
Northern Oak 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2003 (edited) I happen to have this and when I initially use it, it gave a kind of "veiled" performance, like there's some curtain between the music and me. But after half an hour's used, it just suddenly disappear and everything became crystal clear to me. The highs are clear with the detailed mids. However, bass is somewhat lacking. Wonder why it has that veiled performance? Using PCDP -> Supra Cables -> CMoy with Linkwitz-modified crossfeed -> Sony D66SL. In your opinion, what ohmages makes good interconnects, 50 ohms? Is all CD players rated at 50 ohms output impedance? Edited March 17, 2003 by Northern Oak
