nofing 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 A few thoughts here. 1. The stone plus or whatever is called is supposed to launch in black, white and pink according to Cnetasia. 2. Creative is being plain mad launching this model so soon and at such a price. They're practically killing the original stone. Which is really bad business strategy given that time and resources had already been channelled towards the manufacturing and advertising of the stone. Also, launching the plus so quickly leaves doubts about the original stone. 3. And typical of Creative, they being the Kiasu Singaporeans we all are must send in more than one product to compete across the various market segments (especially the lower end). Look at the Zen V plus, the Zen Wav, Zen Neeon, Neeon 2 and you get the idea. It makes like sense no matter how you look at it so supporting Creative is really quite hard. Given their schizophrenic behaviour.

That strategy is not new, many manufacturers do that but I guess they have no choice as got to sell as got to keep coming out with & trying to sell as many different products as possible as their profits are not doing so well.
