Tenson 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2003 Yes, highly recommended. Prefer AKG myself at the price. They have a bit more clarity, better at acoustic stuff. The A-T's are a bit tougher I think. Sipher 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2003 i have heard this pair of AT chip-on headphones which cost around 70-90 now. it doesnt even come close to ksc-55. maybe it's brand new and not burned-in but the sound quality that the AT produce has "no life"....erm...meaning the bass has no impact, "weak" mids and highs... maybe it's that particular model.. i'm not condemning AT though Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I mean I can't compare blindly the 2 companies right? since they produce a wide range of headphones. But if you mean this koss ksc-50 and audio technica EM7 Personally I've notheard the em7 so I can't give you my comment. But if what is said is true, you might want to stay away from the AT for rock or pop. Simply not enough bass kick. Koss has alot of bass, and tend to be a lil overbloated.
