ezzo 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 They seem to be geared towards softer music like the T20, not for music genres like hip-hop, rap.

Kenchi 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) Hello kj87! Have heard both speakers. For vocals, T40 sounds more accurate (tighter, crispier) & has fuller mids. For lows, bass tones are accurate but it lacks of impact, bass that you can feel its pumping out. Aego M packs more punch and impact for that matter. If you are using it for movies (matrix, star wars) & gaming (battlefield 1942 grenade BOOMs etc) as well as genre of music is Hip Hop, trance etc, get the Aego M. For crisp vocals (unplugged) music such as "Desperado" by Eagles, Guitar strums (instrumental) & music that are not overly heavy, I'll recommend T40. T40's was meant for pure, smooth, fuller & natural sound without the need of woofer (music sounded overly heavy by woofer) or detached (low end vocals & frequencies seperates with high end vocals being woofer placed further away from main satellite speakers). The Creative Warehouse Sale is coming up around November, 16th, 17th & 18th. If you can wait by then, never know, the price might drop. My 2 cents worth! Hope it helps!
