zackie101 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Hi there, can anyone 'enlighten' me whether there is such a headphone amp in the market, that is battery operated and has XLR cable inputs. I'm using this for my church drummer as a fixed In-Ear Monitor solution. I'm working on a low budget and could someone recommend me how much must i spend and where can I buy such an item. My requirements of the headphone amp are: 1. Have Volume Knob 2. LED light to display whether it's switched on 3. XLR Cable Inputs 4. 1/4" Cable Outputs 5. Battery Operated (Internal or External) Thanks. I'm looking to get 2 of them.

elmo 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2007 Zackie, Sound Device is good stuff, but definitely not budget priced, since you want DC powered, take the advice and use Cmoy, my church uses simple headphone amp with all those features that you mentioned, but runs on AC. We even output to several musicians from mixer's aux out.
