radioactive28 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 Not too familiar with Linux or the eeePC, but have you got ALSA? It seems to support the USB audio interface, but I've no idea how to integrate the library into the OS.
heady 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2008 I feel stupid. Before I post this topic, for about two hours I searched the internet for the method to configure the eeePC and found nothing. After I post this, I found it: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f46/asus-eee...924/index6.html "To configure Amarok: Open Music Manager, select Setting, Configure Music Manager. Choose Engine. Select 'alsa' as the output plugin. Change the values for Mono and Stereo to 'plughw:1,0' without the quotes. This tells Amarok to use the second audio device (the DAC) rather than the internal sound card. This should get the music playing for you." And it works! Posting this in case it helps someone else. Sheesh, Linux! Thanks radioactive28.
