What are the advantages and disadvantages? Thanks. You save time if you convert to FLAC per album? I don't think there is any big difference ripping it via song or via album.. comacer 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 There is absolutely no difference in either option. Are you using EAC to rip the audio CD? I believe that FLAC isnt much point if you aren't ripping the CD in its entirety. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

1bit 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 i believe the advantage of ripping the whole album in 1 flac file is for archiving purposes. together with the cue file, it'll retain the structure of the cd so you can burn copies of the cd. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
