the mini 3 is a very good amp for it's price.

if you aren't going to multitask while listening to music thru your DAC, then by all means get it. if you are going to multitask, you are going to cry so you must get a proper soundcard.

actually a DAC is not an amp :/ DAC stands for Digital-to-Analog Converter the three main types of amps are tube amps, solid state amps and hybrid amps( of the 2 obviously). there are also passive amps but they don't do what amp does.

e.g. 16GB 16000/1024*1000=15625(real life capacity) and that is not including system files which takes up space too.

SOIC... you need an adaptor... and BTW, dun go to SLT looking for DIP-8 audiophile OPAMPs... out of my list of 4, i can't even get one

well, there are always closed-cans or in-earphone noise cancelling phones dun really work well... unless your noise is constantly at the same frequency

if you rip the whole album as one big flac file there should be no advantage other then having 1 file instead of 10+
