DIY: LC-ICUTE Headphone/Preamp

Recommended Posts

hm...i would say i'm rather busy these few days, fully packed! but i cant stop DIY-ing!

it's just like something must do in life even i have no spare time for it.

maybe that is so called: hobby? lol :DD

LC-ICUTE, separated out from my integrated amp. 1st intension is i need this headphone amp to drive my A900 :P

i have tried a few OPA, finally find that LM4562/OPA2132P sounds better in this circuit design structure.

This looks really nice Alvin. I must say that your projects set High Standards. Is that Silver wire runing into the half bridges?

Can I ask where do you source your equipment from? eg Toroidal transformer? I bought mine (non-audio) from WECL in HKG, shorted it and now i am stuck. My first project (humble-humble) is to setup a PSU for my T-amp and just rebox into something nice. Next is a passive pre-amp.

I am considering a Aikido PCB from glassware, trying to get a few orders together... any interest?

i just built another transistor preamp/headphone amp. i would say it's much better than above ICUTE.

Will post it after some tuning and touch up on wiring.

Nice built man, this is in Pure Class A configuration right?

Sounds good or not? I have a board with me, just that no time to build :(
