hey, this is the govibe series with a DAC output one right?

 

an open question to this amp user, do i need to change my OS if i am using it DAC?

 

i tried using my friend one, my computer cannot read it.

 

after asking him, he told me that my OS need to reconfigure.

 

Can anyone address me? thanks. PM will also do.

You did not give details about your computer. If you are using WinXP, then it should detect without any installation. Win98 needs driver install and I am not sure about Mac.

Please make sure you are using the right USB cable. If you use one of those cables which come along with portable hard disk drives, you may have problem if you use the wrong plug.

ok, thanks, shall try again to retake note, can further explain the diff? as in if i use the HD one, it will not detect huh?

HD usb cable generally will have 2 normal usb plugs on one side and a mini usb plug on the other side. If you don't plug in the right normal usb plug, it won't detect it.

the one on the amp is the mini, and another head is the big one la.

 

you think i crazy till cannot tell the diff meh? i insert the correct place lei.
