Recommend a headphone for Cowon A3

Recommended Posts

Been using Cowon A3 with AKG 412P for quite some time until the headphone broke a few weeks ago.

Due to festive season, my wallet has been well armed for the next acquisition to replace my weeny cowon earphones. Tried out AKG 518 dj at Stereo but with a 2.5m of cable and heavy cans...meh.

any other recommendation? Prefer strong bass, price below $150.

Music preference? Supra-aural or circum-aural? Portable or non-portable? Open or closed?

Pop with rock. supra-aural, portable, preferably open but close is acceptable too.

Edit: Cowon A3 rated impedance is 32 ohms.

A used pair of ES7 will fit your budget nicely.

I don't think so lei. The ES7 lack of the bassy sound from the genre of music that is he is listening to.

Dymanic is only the driver that they use for this headphone.
