that someone is joelongwood right? if you read his later post, he has admitted that the grado surround headphone which he tried about 5 years ago was not made of wood so it might be completely a different headphone after all and furthermore the shape of the headphones that the kids worn in the picture is based on the new SR325i model

the kids are wearing a new grado headphones The HF-1 is probably one of the new grado series in 2006 that's why it's only being pre-released to the headfiers now The wood chamber is based on SR325i but the inner drive housing is plastic If I'm not wrong the headband is still made of vinyl so it could be the next HF-2

guys cool down i'm sure snr is not trying to rip off anyone here in fact he is one of the nicest guy i've ever met. i went to his house to pick up the sennheiser pads in july. he cut the pad in front of me with a tube cutter. now, i am not trying to defend anyone here since i don't know whether he bought it for 7.50 or 17 but at that time the only place that i'm aware of selling the pad is only sls at level 3 just my 2 cents
