ahdui: even though I own better phones than the Portapros, I can so live with teh Portapros as my home phones. The best part is that it cost only $89. If you have a bigger budget, I personally like the Grado line. BTW... GO TO STEREO ELECTRONICS, They have quite a nice stash displayed for you to audition.

ES7 are supra-aural IIRC. How about a Koss 60 Ohm. I have owned 3 pairs of Koss 60 Ohm phones and I am almost always blown away at howw well they perform at that price.

$25 @ Hung Brothers I have them and they work well for that purpose.

I haven't tried the amp with my IEMs. The ITEM has been sold. Thanks for the interest!

Hi all, I am currently selling my Go-Vibe V3b. The Go-Vibe is a portable amp by Norm, who no longer produce them. This amp pairs well with Grados at a gain of 4 (Norm's reccomendation) and I am selling them because I need money for other things. Amp is in mint condition and rarely moved except placed on my computer desk. I am including the OPA2227, OPA2134 and JRC4556 (the one used in a Grado RA-1) for you to play around with the OPAMP rolling. Price is $sold firm. Please feel free to ask any queries via PM. Thanks!!! EDIT: awaiting collection EDIT: SOLD

Beyer DT250-250 + PA2V2 + D-465/141 = Sleeping Grado SR325i + Headsave Classic + E-MU 0404 = Main ER6 + H10 = Portable KSC75/PX100 into any grubby source = For fun and laughter SR60g + Headsave Classic + E-MU 0404 = Amateur simple sound editing. I don't pair music to cans.
-
PM me your price.

I am not too sure about that. If you talk to the sound man about it, you can also tap the sound off his soundboard via the line in.
-
I know that Creative's Zen Nano's series, price can be obtain from their website. I have tried their earlier Muvo line and it works fine for recording speeches. A slightly higher budget will get you an MD with a mic in and a powered condenser mic, but the downside is that you cannot download it content into mp3 format. (I am not too sure about Sony's latest HiMD line)
